Netbanking is an easy and convenient means of carrying out all of your banking transactions. Through netbanking, customers can transfer funds at any time of the day for various purposes in a quick and hassle-free manner. All you need is your customer ID and netbanking password. If you are an existing customer with ICICI Bank, a few simple steps can help activate your net banking facilities.
For new customers, the customer ID and password and is usually provided in the Welcome Kit received on the day your account is opened. If you do not have your customer ID and password, you can obtain them by getting in touch with the ICICI customer care services. You can activate your net banking services by logging on to the bank’s official website. Click on the “Get Started” tab and select “I want my User ID” option. When you click on the “I want my User ID” option, you will be asked for your bank account number and the mobile number registered with the bank. Once these details have been filled out, your User ID will be generated. Once the User ID has been generated, click on the “I Want my Password” option. You will be asked to fill out your User ID and mobile number that is registered with the bank. Once you have entered these details, you will receive an SMS from the bank with a verification code. Once you enter the verification code, your ICICI Netbanking services will be activated. When the netbanking services are activated, the bank gives you a password to access your savings account. It is advisable to change your password as soon as possible for security reasons.
You can also find out your user ID by calling the Customer Care number and following the recorded instructions. You can select Option 1 to find out your User ID and select option 3 to reset it.
You can also activate your net banking facilities by visiting your nearest ICICI Bank branch and filling out an application form. The application form can also be downloaded from the bank website. Once the necessary details have been filled out, you can submit the form ato the bank or drop it in the drop boxes present in all ICICI Bank ATMs. Apart from transferring funds, netbanking also allows you to pay utility bills, view old bank statements, find out your current balance, and even recharge your mobile phone.
