Step 4: The banker will examine the attached documents and the Account Opening Form (AOF). He will move forward if he/she is satisfied with these requirements. 

 Step 5: As per the requirements of your savings account, deposit the minimum balance amount.  You will be given an account number after the banker has verified your Account Opening Form (AOF) and other supporting documents. Next, you must deposit the minimum required balance for the type of savings bank account you have chosen. 

 Step 6: After your account has been successfully opened, the banker will give you your chequebook, passbook, debit card, and other documents. At that point, you can start using your account to make purchases. 

How to Check the Balance of a Saptagiri Grameena Bank Savings Account? 

  1. Missed Call Number: The customer can call 9540011233 and leave a missed call to find out their account balance. The call will automatically end after two rings, and you will receive an SMS with your bank account balance. You will receive an SMS in Telugu, which is the local language. 
  2. SMS: You can send an SMS to 08572233598 with the text BAL <Account Number> on 08572233598. Wait a few minutes after sending the SMS before checking your mobile device because an SMS with account details will be sent.  
  3. ATM: Account holders with ATM cards can also use ATM machines to check their account balance. To check your account's bank balance, use any ATM machine. To check your bank account balance using your ATM card, you need to put the ATM card in the slot on the ATM machine. Enter the ATM PIN when the machine prompts for it. Choose the Balance inquiry option for checking your savings account balance.  
  4. Passbook: You can check your savings account balance by updating your passbook.  You must visit the bank branch personally for updating your passbook. A bank executive will update it. If there is a passbook updating machine, you may also use it to update your passbook.
