Customers can also check their balance through SMS service. To use this service, enter your registered mobile number (BALAccount Number), and send it to 9880654321. This is a great option for customers who prefer text messaging over calls or apps and need account updates at their convenience.  

Mobile Banking App: KBL Mobile Plus 

KBL Mobile Plus, the Karnataka Bank mobile application, provides users complete access to banking functions such as viewing balance. Users can easily view their balance, access mini statements, and manage transactions after logging in. This app can be downloaded for both IOS and Android devices, and users must register to use the app.  

  1. Bhim Kabil UPI App: The Bhim Kabil UPI App allows customers to access UPI (Unified Payments Interface) services easily. You can easily download the app from the Play Store and log in using your credentials to make transactions and check your balance. 
  1. KBL mPassBook: The KBL mPassBook offers all information regarding your bank account. This app acts like a digital bank passbook and allows you to access detailed transaction summaries, check your balance, and view transaction history. You can download the KBL mPassBook app on your mobile and log in using your credentials. 

WhatsApp Banking 

WhatsApp Banking is a new feature launched by the Karnataka Bank to make banking easier for its customers. WhatsApp banking is a convenient way to access banking services. To access WhatsApp banking, follow the steps given below: 

Step 1: Save the Karnataka Bank WhatsApp number 963218899 on your mobile. 

Step 2: Send a ‘Hi’ to the number. 

Step 3: You will receive an OTP. 

Step 4: Enter the OTP received and accept the terms and conditions. 

Step 5: Once WhatsApp banking is activated, select the ‘Banking Services’ option. 

Step 6: To check your account balance, select the ‘Balance Enquiry’ option. 

Internet Banking Platform 

Customers can access their balance via KBL NetBanking by logging into their account using any browser. After logging in, customers can view account balance, transaction history, and more. Customers must register through their home branch or online with a user ID and password prior to using the service. 

Passbook and ATM Inquiry 

There are also more conventional options, such as utilizing a Karnataka Bank ATM or upgrading your bank passbook in-branch. Although these methods have become less popular with the advent of digital options, they are still useful for accurate balancing of updates. Just insert your card, enter your PIN, and select ‘Balance Inquiry’ in the ATM.  

Unified Payments Interface (UPI)
