IndusInd Bank’s SMS Banking Service allows customers to access account information and perform various banking functions directly from their mobile phones. This service ensures full control and access to their bank account anytime, anywhere.
The SMS Banking Service is quite user friendly and simple to use. The customer simply has to SMS the particular request which they want to perform and they will get a reply instantly on their registered mobile number.
In order to start using the SMS Banking Service, you must link your mobile number to your bank account number. To update your mobile number to your account, you can visit any IndusInd Bank branch and place a request for the same. With the SMS Banking Service, you can perform a variety of functions such as check your savings account balance, get a transaction history of last 3 transactions, generate an MMID for your account, recharge your own mobile number or another mobile number, besides several other functions.
Following are some of the functions you can perform from your mobile number under SMS Banking. You must send your message with the keywords to the SMS Banking number provided i.e. 92122 99955.

Bank account related requests such as request for a duplicate statement, duplicate FD advice, add-on card, TDS certificate, apply for a home loan, FD, credit card, account grouping, new account, new e-locker or submission of a complaint can be done by sending the following SMS keywords to 567677.

IndusInd's SMS banking feature offers many benefits and just requires sending a text message from the registered contact number. Send 'BAL' to 92122 99955 to know your IndusInd bank account balance.
IndusInd Bank Balance Enquiry SMS is available through the phone number 9212299955. Enter the code "BAL" in your registered mobile number. Feel free to send it to 9212299955. IndusInd Bank will send your Account balance via SMS to your registered mobile number.
You need to send the message in the format <BALAVL><space><Account Number><space><MPIN>. You will receive an SMS with your bank balance details on the same number. For example, if your bank account number is 9999 9999 9999 and your MPIN is 8888, you need to send an SMS saying: BALAVL 999999999999 8888 to 9444394443.
Send SMS <MBSREG >to 9223440000 You will get a User ID and default MPIN. You will receive SMS – “Your MPIN is changed”. It is desirable to change MPIN at regular intervals or whenever there is an apprehension that secrecy has been lost. your MPIN before registering at the ATM.
