To offer added convenience to their customers, IndusInd Bank has introduced the SMS Banking Service which basically enables customers to not only access information related to their account on their mobile phone but also carry out various banking functions via SMS. With this SMS Banking Service, not only can customers get full access to their bank account but also ensure that they have full control, no matter where they are. The SMS Banking Service is quite user friendly and simple to use. The customer simply has to SMS the particular request which they want to perform and they will get a reply instantly on their registered mobile number.
In order to start using the SMS Banking Service, you must link your mobile number to your bank account number. To update your mobile number to your account, you can visit any IndusInd Bank branch and place a request for the same. With the SMS Banking Service, you can perform a variety of functions such as check your savings account balance, get a transaction history of last 3 transactions, generate an MMID for your account, recharge your own mobile number or another mobile number, besides several other functions.
Following are some of the functions you can perform from your mobile number under SMS Banking. You must send your message with the keywords to the SMS Banking number provided i.e. 92122 99955.
