To improve the banking experience of its customers, IDBI Bank offers a new avenue of convenience with its SMS Banking facility. Customers who possess a Fixed Deposit or Current Account can avail this feature at no extra cost. This feature will help IDBI Bank’s customers to access their savings account and receive any information related to their account.
With SMS Banking, a customer can carry out a wide range of banking facilities such as keeping a tab on your balance and spending, receiving a OTP for online transactions, make requests for cheque books, etc.
Apply for the SMS Banking facility:
If a customer chooses to avail the SMS Banking services, all they have to do is send a request from your registered mobile number to 9821043718 or 9820346920. Once this is done, the customer will receive a reply from the bank and the service will then be initiated. If the customer has the same mobile number registered against multiple bank accounts, the customer will have to be more specific in the activation message. The message will have to have the account number mentioned in the following format: REG Account Number to 9821043718 or 9820346920.
Once the confirmation SMS has been received by the customer, he/she will be able to use the SMS Banking facility almost immediately.
If you do not receive the confirmation SMS, please check the SMS that you had initially sent for any discrepancies. You can also check and see if the right mobile number had been used.
