Activate CitiAlert and get regular SMS or Email alerts on your account. You can also opt for alerts to confirm that your transaction has been successfully completed. Two main benefits of using CitiAlert is it helps you in detecting fraud and reminds you of your bills to be paid.

    WeChat: CitiBank has a dedicated portal to let their customers know about their new products. You can download the WeChat app and be the first one to know about Citibank’s products. You also get dinning and shopping offers on WeChat app. You can also refer your friends to CItibank products and earn attractive reward points.

    Citi Tablet app: Citi Tablet App allows you to view your account information in a graphical format and helps you in planning your finances better.

    Citibank credit card information: You can also use your mobile phone to check your credit card information. Just type STMT and send it to 1234 to check the latest statement billed amount along with your minimum due amount and the due date.

    Book Deposits: You can also book deposits using Citibank mobile banking service. You can choose from the four deposit schemes Citibank offers, namely Fixed Deposits, Recurring Deposits, Multi Deposits, and Tax Saver Deposits.

    Citibank fund transfer options

    Apart from using your debit and credit card for making payments, Citibank offers four safe and secure fund transfer options, namely NEFT and IMPS.

    National Electronic Fund Transfer (NEFT): Citibank allows you to transfer funds within the same bank network online. You will have to know your beneficiary account details to initiate the payment. NEFT can be made online, using an app or via SMS.

    Real Time Gross Settlement (RTGS): Customers can transfer funds on real time basis under RTGS. While NEFT transfer is made batchwise, RTGS settlement is made on net basis. The minimum amount for RTGS transfer is Rs.2 lakh.

    IMPS- Immediate Payment Service offered by Citibank allows you to transfer funds instantly. This electronic fund transfer offered by Citibank helps customers in saving a lot of time.

    International wire transfer: Customers can wire funds from overseas account to their Rupee checking account using International wire transfers. Once the international bank initiates the transfer, it takes 2-3 days for the funds to reflect in the account.
