The nation’s capital, Delhi, has already established a Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA) body to govern and regulate the real estate sector in the city. This was done as per the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, 2016, which seeks to introduce transparency, accountability and professionalism in the industry.
Prospective property buyers in Delhi can now visit the RERA Delhi portal and find all the information about the property they want to purchase. With all the information present on the website, the chances of delivering misinformation and deceiving the buyers are next to nil.
Step 1: Visit the official website of RERA Delhi.
Step 2: Click on the “Registration” tab located on the top of the page.
Step 3: You will be given three options to choose from—Projects (Application by Promoter), Real Estate Agent, and Purchaser.
Step 4: Click on the “Real Estate Agent” option.
Step 5: You will be redirected to a page where you have to fill in a pre-registration form.
Step 6: Key in the required details, including your name, email ID, address, mobile number, and date of birth.
Step 7: Sign up to register.
