    The RERA (Real Estate Regulation and Development) Act has been established to safeguard the interest of the home purchasers. It also promotes good investments in the sector for real estate. The RERA bill was passed in the Lok Sabha on 15 March 2016.

    For New Projects:

    How to Register Projects under RERA Madhya Pradesh 

    Step 1: Visit the RERA Madhya Pradesh official website 

    Login to the website

    Step 2: Click on ‘Registration’ on the menu bar and then on ‘Project Registration’ from the pop-up menu to redirect you to the project registration webpage. 

    Step 3: Read through the instructions to add your project to the RERA Web Application and click on ‘Proceed’ to redirect you to the application form. 

    Step 4: Choose the promoter type and enter the required promoter details, project details and the bank details of the project. Upload the scanned copy of documents wherever required and click on save. 

    Step 5: You will be redirected to the payment gateway where you will be required to pay the registration fee. 

    Step 6: Once the payment has been made, click on ‘Confirm’ to complete your application process. 

    Documents Required 

    • Details of registration including the bye-laws. 
    • Memorandum of Association. 
    • Articles of Association. 
    • Passport size photographs of the promoter. 
    • Passport size photographs of the chairman, director, and all the member in case the promoter is a firm/company. 
    • Copy of PAN Card/Aadhaar Card of the promoter. 
    • PAN Card/Aadhaar Card copies of chairman, director, and all the member in case the promoter is a firm/company. 
    • Balance Sheet, Audited P & L Account, Auditors Report and IT Returns of the promoter for the last 3 financial years. 
    • Copy of the legal title deed and other legal documents showing the promoter’s title/legal rights to the property on which the project is proposed. 
    • Non-encumbrance certificate issued by a revenue authority not lower than the Tehsildar. 
    • Particulars of encumbrances on the property. 
    • Consent of the plot’s owner along with the agreement for collaboration, development agreement or joint development agreement if the promoter is not the legal owner of the land. 
    • Copy of the approvals and commencement certificate issued by the competent authority. 
    • In case the project is proposed to be developed in phases, copy of approvals and commencement certificate issued by the competent authority for each phase. 
    • Layout plan & specification of the project, sanctioned plan approved by the competent authority. 
    • Address details of the project along with the location including the longitude and latitude of end-points. 
    • The number, type and carpet area along with the balcony area of the apartment for sale in the proposed project. 
    • Proforma of the allotment letter. 
    • Agreement for Sale. 
    • Conveyance Deed. 
    • Number and areas of garage for sale in the proposed project. 
    • Number of open parking areas availing in the project. 
    • Name and addresses of the real estate agents, contractors, architect, structural engineer (if any) concerned with the development of the real estate project. 
    • Form B – Declaration along with an affidavit.
