Applying for a HDFC FD online is a hassle-free and convenient process and can be done by following a few simple steps. One can also open an HDFC FD by visiting the nearest branch or through mobile banking. The FD options offered by HDFC bank include regular FDs, tax savings FDs, super-saver, sweep-in, etc. They offer guaranteed returns at industry rates and a higher interest rate for senior citizens.
Step 1: Visit the HDFC bank website and login to the internet banking portal by providing username and password
Step 2: Go to the ‘Open Fixed Deposits’ tab under the ‘Accounts’ option in the ‘Request’ section
Step 3: Fill in all relevant details in the respective columns such as branch name, tenure range, deposit amount, domination details. Then, click ‘Continue’.
Step 4: Verify details and click ‘Confirm’
Step 5: The FD advice can be downloaded. A confirmation message will be displayed once the booking of the FD is confirmed

Step 3: Fill in the form with all details. The bank officer will usually assist customers while filling the form
