They offer a wide range of Fixed Deposit (FD) options such as Tax Saver Fixed Deposits, Fixed Deposit Plus, Flexi Deposit, etc. One can apply for an FD online through internet banking or mobile banking.
An FD can also be opened by visiting the nearest Axis Bank branch. Axis Bank offers attractive interest rates, a low minimum investment and various other facilities such as short minimum tenure, reinvestment deposits, seamless fund transfer and automatic renewal.
Step 1: Visit the Axis Bank website and log in to the internet banking portal by providing username and password
Step 2: Choose the 'Deposit' option and click on 'Create Fixed Deposit'
Step 3: Fill in all relevant details and choose a nominee
Step 4: Verify details and click on 'Confirm'. After confirmation, the FD amount will be debited from the customer's savings account and a web receipt will be generated
Step 5: An FD advice will be mailed to the registered email- ID of the customer
Step 1: Go to the nearest Axis Bank branch
Step 2: Meet with the respective banking officer and ask him/her for an FD application form
Step 3: Duly fill in the FD application form and furnish all accurate details. The bank officer will assist the customer in filling the form.
Step 4: Submit all required documents
Step 5: Make a deposit of the required funds
Step 6: An FD receipt will be provided to the respective customer
All individuals, joint account holders, Hindu Undivided Families, etc, are eligible to open an FD in Axis Bank. FDs can also be opened by those who are differently abled, blind or illiterate.
However, minors cannot open an FD with Axis Bank without having a legal guardian.
