- Is it mandatory to carry the original registration certificate of my vehicle?
Yes, it is mandatory to keep the original registration certificate with your vehicle when plying on public roads. As per the rules, you can be prosecuted by the court in case you are driving or riding your vehicle and are caught not carrying the prescribed documents.

No, you are not allowed to change the registration number assigned to your vehicle.
