The Commissioner of Transport is the Head of the Arunachal Pradesh Transport Department. The Transport Department ensures the enforcement of the provisions of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988, in Arunachal Pradesh, through the various Regional Transport Offices (RTOs) in the state.
How to Register Vehicle in Arunachal Pradesh RTO
To register your vehicle in an RTO in Arunachal Pradesh, you need to do the following:
- Step 1: Visit the RTO in your local area
- Step 2: Request for the application form for vehicle registration (temporary or permanent)
- Step 3: Fill up the application form and sign it
- Step 4: Submit the application form along with the required documents
The registration process will now be initiated. You will receive your registration certificate once the verification and other formalities have been completed.
