    NAV Disclosure and Benchmark for ICICI Prudential Value Discovery Fund – Growth

    The net asset value (NAV) of the units under the scheme will be calculated by dividing the total assets of the scheme by the total number units outstanding as on the date of valuation. The NAV will be computed and disclosed at the end of every business day. The formula to calculate the NAV is as given below:

    NAV (in INR) = Market or Fair Value of the scheme’s investments + current assets – current liabilities and provision/Total number of units that are outstanding under the scheme.

    The NAV if the scheme will be available at every Customer Service Centre of the company. It will be published in a minimum of two newspapers. It will also be published on the website of the AMC (www.icicipruamc.com) and on the AMFI website (www.amfiindia.com).

    The scheme offers units for switch-in/sale/switch-out/redemption every business day at the NAV-based price. Any redemption proceed will be dispatched within a period of 10 business days from the redemption date. The benchmark for this scheme is S&P BSE 500 Index.

    The fund manager of this scheme is Mr. Mrinal Singh. He has managed investments under this scheme since February 2011. The fund manager for overseas investments of the fund is Ms. Priyanka Khandelwal.

    Investment Restrictions of ICICI Prudential Value Discovery Fund – Growth

    Certain investment restrictions that are applicable for this scheme are as follows:

    • A mutual fund scheme cannot invest over 10% of its net asset value in equity instruments or equity-related instruments of any one firm.
    • If an organisation invests over 5% of the net asset value of any scheme, the investments made will need to be disclosed according to the SEBI (MF) regulations.
    • No loans will be offered for any purpose under this scheme.
    • Mutual fund schemes cannot invest over 10% of its net asset value in unrated debt instruments that are issued by a single issuer.
    • The scheme is allowed to invest in any other scheme offered by the same asset management company or in other mutual funds without charging a fee.
    • In the case of open-ended schemes, the scheme will not invest over 5% of its net asset value in unlisted equity-related instruments or equity shares.
    • A mutual fund scheme cannot make investments of over 10% of its net asset value in equity shares/equity-related instruments of any one organisation.
    • The fund will not borrow unless there is a temporary need for liquidity.
    • Investments can be transferred from one scheme to another within the same mutual fund, provided certain conditions are met.
    • The scheme will need to follow any other guidelines/regulations that may become applicable to investments of mutual funds.

Under this, the investor will be enrolled under a group life insurance policy. ICICI Prudential Asset Management Company will pay the premium for this life cover.
