  • Motilal Oswal MF suspends ultra-short term fund subscriptions

    All subscriptions and additional switch-ins have been suspended for the Motilal Oswal Ultra Short Term Fund. This will be with immediate effect, as announced by Motilal Oswal Mutual Fund in an addendum.

    For pre-registered investments and systematic investment plans under the scheme, processing of registrations will also be suspended.

    The scheme’s other features will remain unchanged.

  • New equity hybrid fund launched by Motilal Oswal Mutual Fund

    Private equity firm Motilal Oswal Mutual Fund on 24 August 2018 launched a new equity fund known as Motilal Oswal Equity Hybrid Fund (MOFEH). Subscription to the units of this fund will open from 7 September 2018. The scheme will allocate a major portion of its corpus (65% to 70%) in equity while the rest will be allocated to debt securities. The equity portion will have a mix of mid, small, and large cap firms but will be biased towards large cap firms. The debt portion will have an optimum blend of market securities and corporate bonds.

    The Motilal Oswal Equity Hybrid Fund will be managed by Mr. Siddharth Bothra and the CRISIL Hybrid 35+65 Aggressive TRI will be its benchmark. The scheme will not have a dividend option but will have a cash flow plan instead. The cash flow plan will entitle investors to have a regular income source at a fixed frequency and rate.
