    Canara Robeco is a joint venture between Canara Bank and global asset management company Robeco of Netherlands. This joint venture combines Canara Bank’s experience in Indian market and Robeco’s global experience in asset management.

    Canara Robeco Mutual Fund is managed by Canara Robeco Asset Management Company Limited. It was first established in 1987 as Canbank Mutual Fund. Canara Bank partnered with Robeco in 2007 and it was renamed to Canara Robeco Mutual Fund. It offers a range of investment options including diversified and thematic equity schemes, hybrid and monthly income funds and debt/treasury products. It has been one of the fastest growing mutual funds in India in terms of Assets Under Management (AUM.).

    • Canara Robeco Mutual Fund Head of Equities resigns

      Ravi Gopalakrishnan, Head of Equities at Canara Robeco Mutual Fund has stepped down from his position and as per industry sources, he will probably be joining another firm in the private equity space. Mr. Gopalakrishnan was leading the Fund Management and Equity Research team at Canara Robeco for the last 5 and a half years and prior to that, he had worked with Principal Asset Management and Pramerica Asset Management. The Canara Robeco Mutual Fund is responsible for managing assets worth Rs.12,500 crore and is ranked at number 22 in terms of asset size among the 42-member mutual fund industry in India.
