    NAV Disclosure and Benchmark for the ICICI Prudential Infrastructure Fund - Dividend

    The Net Asset Value (NAV) of each unit of the scheme will be calculated by dividing the net assets of the scheme by the total number of units outstanding on the date of calculation. The valuation of the investments is valued by the fund as per the norms of valuation specified in Schedule VIII of the Regulations, or such norms as prescribed by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Mutual Funds) Regulations. These norms are subject to change to alter from time to time and is provided in the Statement of Additional Information (SAI).

    The Net Asset Value (NAV) is calculated and disclosed by 9:00 p.m. every business day. It is usually rounded up to 2 decimal places. The AMC will be liable to provide an explanation to AMFI and SEBI in case they fail to disclose the NAV on time.

    Investment Restrictions of the ICICI Prudential Infrastructure Fund - Dividend

    There are a few restrictions which are set on the basis of the Trust Deed which is read with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Mutual Fund) Regulations. Pertaining to the scheme, these restrictions are applicable at the time of making an investment. Some of the restrictions are listed below:

    • Loans cannot be advanced by the scheme for any purpose.
    • A mutual fund scheme should not make investments exceeding the limit of 10% of its Net Asset Value (NAV) in equity shares of a single company.
    • A scheme should not make investments in fund of fund scheme.
    • Investments made by a mutual fund in the unlisted equity shares and other unlisted equity related instruments can be made to the extent of only 5% of its Net Asset Value (NAV).
    • The limit of investments made by a mutual fund in unlisted equity shares and unlisted equity related instruments is 5% of NAV of the fund for open ended schemes and 10% of NAV of the fund for close ended schemes.
    • Provided, certain conditions are fulfilled, the investments can be transferred from one scheme to another scheme under the same mutual fund.
    • The paid up capital of a company which carries the voting rights can be owned by all the schemes under a mutual fund to the extent of 10% only.
    • Investments should be made to the extent of 10% of the Net Asset Value (NAV) of the mutual fund in case of debt instruments issued by a single issuer. However, it can also be extended to 12% with prior approval from the Board of Trustees and Board of Directors (BOD) of the Asset Management Company (AMC).
    • Mutual funds should not invest in unlisted security of an associate or group company of the sponsor.
    • Mutual funds should not invest in securities which are issued by private placement made by an associate or group company of the sponsor.
