NAV Disclosure and Benchmark for Axis Midcap Fund - Dividend

The NAV will be disclosed on all business days and will be published in at least two daily newspapers. The NAV will also be updated on the Association of Mutual Funds in India website www.amfiindia.com and the Axis Mutual Fund website www.axismf.com. This updation will be done before 9:00 p.m. every business day. A press release shall be released by the mutual fund in case the NAV is not available before the start of business hours on the following day. They shall give the reason for the delay and will also tell when the NAV would be published.

Investment Restrictions for Axis Midcap Fund - Dividend

Some of the investment restrictions have been listed below:

  • More than 10% of the NAV may not be invested in equity and its related instruments by the scheme.
  • More than 10% of any company’s capital voting rights of any company shall not be owned by the mutual fund under all its schemes.
  • Investments in unrated debt instruments issued by a single issuer may not exceed more than 10% of the NAV of the scheme.
  • Investments may be made by the mutual fund in other schemes of the fund or any other mutual fund altogether without charging any extra fees. All of these shall not exceed 5% of the NAV of the fund.
  • If the investments are meant to be long term in nature, securities shall be transferred or purchased in the fund on account of the scheme.
  • No investments shall be made by the scheme in any fund of funds schemes.
  • Loans shall not be advanced by the scheme under any circumstance.
  • Investments made in equity shares and its related instruments may not exceed more than 5% of the NAV of the scheme.
  • More than 10% of the NAV of the scheme may not be invested in debt instruments that comprise of money and non-money market instruments that have been issued by a single issuer.

Dividend Policy of Axis Midcap Fund - Dividend

The Trustee will declare the dividend in case there is an availability of a distributable surplus that has been calculated according to the regulations in place. The decision of the Trustee is final in this case. The record date will be set by the Trustee and will be announced to the public within a day after making the decision about the dividend. This declaration will be made through one English daily newspaper that has nationwide reach and another newspaper in the same language as in the region where the office of the fund company is located.
