Passport Applicants Above 18 Years Must Submit the Following Documents

You also need to submit documentary proof in case of non-ECR category and any three of the mandatory documents for tatkaal passport.

The mandatory documents for tatkaal passport are as follows (submit any three):

1. Aadhaar card
2. Voter ID
3. Service photo ID issued by State / Central government.

Passport Applicants Below 18 Years (Minors) Must Submit the Following Documents

The mandatory documents for tatkaal passport are as follows (submit any three):

Residents of Jammu and Kashmir who are staying outside the state for 5 years need to submit the following documents:

4. Proof of registration/ migration certificate.

6. Any three of the documents among the the ones listed below:

   12. Birth certificate issued under the RBD Act.
   13. Pension records, including pension books and payment orders, dependant certificates for widows or widows of former service members, old age pension orders, and widow pension orders.

Employees of Government/PSU/Statutory Body who desire post police verification mode must submit:

1. Proof of present address
2. Proof of date of birth
3. No objection certificate as per Annexure G

Employees of Government/PSU/Statutory Body who desire pre police verification mode need to submit:

1. Proof of present address
2. Proof of date of birth
3. Prior Intimation letter as per Annexure H

Employees of Government/PSU/Statutory Body who desire no police verification must submit:

1. Proof of present address
2. Proof of date of birth
3. Identity certificate in original as per Annexure A

Retired Government officials applying for a fresh passport under the Tatkaal mode need to submit:

1. Proof of present address

3. Pension payment order OR three of the documents from among the ones listed below:
   1. Ration card

   4. Aadhaar card/e-Aadhaar
   5. Self-passport (unrevoked and undamaged)

   13. Pension documents such as pension book or pension payment order, ex-servicemen's widow or dependent certificate, old age pension order, widow pension order.

Applicants having diplomatic/official passports and applying for ordinary passport while in service who have the surrender certificate need to submit:

1. Proof of present address
2. Proof of date of birth
3. Proof of surrender or cancellation of Diplomatic/official passport
4. Standard affidavit as per Annexure E
5. Three documents among the ones listed below:
   1. Ration card
   2. Driving licence
   3. Voter ID card
   4. Aadhaar card/e-Aadhaar
   5. Self-passport (unrevoked and undamaged)
   6. PAN card
   7. Bank/Kisan/Post office passbooks.
   8. SC/ST/OBC certificates
   9. Arms License
   10. Service photo identity card issued by state/central government, public sector undertakings, local bodies or public limited companies.
   11. Student identity cards issued by government recognized educational institutions in respect of full-time courses.

Applicants having diplomatic/official passports and applying for ordinary passport while in service but do not have the surrender certificate must provide the documents listed below:

1. Proof of present address
2. Cancelled passport with a letter explaining why surrender certificate is not available.
3. Standard affidavit as per Annexure E
4. Three documents from among the ones listed below:
   1. Ration card
   2. Driving license
   3. Voter ID card

   5. Self-passport (unrevoked and undamaged)
   6. PAN card

While applying for a fresh passport under the Tatkaal mode; owners, partners and directors of companies which are members of CII, FICCI, and ASSOCHAM need to submit:

Dependent family members of Diplomatic/official passport holders who are not government servants need to submit:

1. Proof of present address
2. Proof of date of birth
3. Copy of the Diplomatic/official passport
4. Standard certificate as per Annexure E
5. Documentary proof for any one of the non-ECR categories
6. Three from among the ones listed below:
   1. Ration card
   2. Driving license
   3. Voter ID card
   4. Aadhaar card/e-Aadhaar
   5. Self-passport (unrevoked and undamaged)
   6. PAN card
