The steps to renew your registration certificate once it expires in RTO Lakshadweep are given below: 

Step 1: Submit the application form (Form 25) before the expiry date. 

Step 2: Your vehicle will be inspected if it is older than 15 years. 

Step 3: Pay the registration certificate renewal fees and penalties (if any). 

Step 4: You will receive your renewed registration certificate. 

How to Transfer Vehicle Ownership in Lakshadweep RTO? 

Vehicle owners can also transfer ownership of their vehicle through the RTO Lakshadweep. The steps to transfer ownership are as follows: 

Step 1: Fill out (signed by both seller and buyer) Forms 29 and 30 and submit them. 

Step 2: Attach copies of valid documents and certificates, such as the buyer’s address proof, PUC certificate, and the existing registration certificate. 

Step 3: Take an appointment through the official website of RTO Chandigarh to submit the file. 

Step 4: Pay the fee. 

Step 5: Pay the fee for HSRP, collect the HSRP authorisation slip and fee slip. Get it affixed to your vehicle on the assigned date. 

Step 6: Your registration certificate will be sent to your address after verification. 

How to Change Address in Registration Certificate in RTO Lakshadweep? 

To change the address in your registration certificate in RTO Lakshadweep, follow the steps given below: 

Step 1: Submit the filled-out application form (Form 33) along with the proof of new address. 

Step 2: Provide the required documents (original RC, new address proof, and insurance certificate). 

Step 3: Pay the applicable fee for the address change. 

Step 4: Your registration certificate with the updated address will be sent to you.
