A special policy catering to HIV positive persons who are, more often than not, socially isolated and disowned by family members across the country. The benefits under the policy will be paid to the insured person only if it is proposed by Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs), government agencies or registered societies involved in the care and treatment of HIV-infected persons. The HIV Care Policy can be issued to a group of persons already infected with the disease. Covered patients must, however, be members of the proposer.
