Renew Driving Licence in Telangana

Step 1: Visit the official website of Sarathi Parivahan. 

Step 2: Select your state as ‘Telangana’. 

Step 3: Select the option ‘Apply for DL Renewal’. 

Step 4: Enter the information including, Driving Licence Number, Date of Birth, and Captcha Code.  

Step 5: Click on the option ‘Get Details’. 

Step 6: Select the category of license, RTO, and State. 

Step 7: Select the option ‘DL Renewal’. 

Step 8: Submit the application form along with required documents. 

Step 9: Pay the renewal fee. 

Step 10: Download the receipt or print the acknowledgement receipt for future reference. 

Step 11: Your renewed DL will be processed and dispatched to your registered address.  

Offline Process 

Step 1: Visit your nearest Regional Transport Office (RTO) with your current driving licence and documents. 

Step 2: Collect Form 9 for DL renewal from the RTO. 

Step 3: Fill in the form accurately and upload the required documents. 

Step 4: Submit the form and pay the renewal fees. 

Step 5: Keep the payment receipt for future reference. 

Step 6: Complete the biometric verification, including photo, fingerprints, and signature. 

Step 7: Take the acknowledgement slip after submission to track your application status.

You can follow the steps given below to book an online driving licence renewal appointment: 

Step 1: Visit the official Sarathi Parivahan portal. 

Step 2: Under ‘Online Services’, select the option ‘Driving Licence’. 

Step 3: Select the state as ‘Telangana’. 

Step 4: Click on the option ‘Appointments’. 

Step 5: Under ‘Slot Booking’, select the option ‘DL Services Slot Booking’. 

Step 6: Fill in the Application Number, Application Date of Birth, and Captcha Code. 

Step 7: Book an appointment and visit RTO on a scheduled date with original documents.

Step 4: From the drop-down menu, select the option module ‘Driving Licence’. 

Step 5: Fill in your application number or DL number to track your renewal status.
