With the exception of one hybrid lane, all lanes at the National Highway toll plaza will be designated as dedicated FASTag Lanes as of December 15, 2019. If non-FASTag users use the FASTag lanes, they will be charged twice as much.
Customers must complete and return to the issuer bank a signed FASTag application form., a passport-size photograph of the vehicle owner and the necessary KYC documents for the category of the owner of the vehicle, including a current driver's licence.
You must notify your issuing bank and close the account if you have sold or transferred your vehicle.
The FASTag has a five-year validity, and after purchase, you only need to recharge or top it off as necessary.
Currently, FASTag is in use at more than 650 toll booths on National Highways. Under the National Electronic Toll Collection (NETC) programme, the system is interoperable and the same FASTag can be used at all toll booths. The NETC programme will eventually include more toll booths. The list of plazas can be found under the "Active Toll Plazas" section. For more information, please visit www.ihmcl.com.
