You will get an SMS alert after every deduction made from your prepaid account that is linked to the FASTag. When the balance falls below a certain threshold, an SMS is sent to notify you.
Cash, net banking, debit/credit card, or UPI payment applications are all convenient ways to recharge the FASTag account.
The documents needed to apply for FASTag are PAN Card, Aadhar Card, Registration Certificate of vehicle, and passport size photo of the vehicle's owner.
