How to Get FASTag at Toll Plaza
The government introduced FASTag to avoid the manual collection of tolls at the plaza. To avail of this facility, the customers can contact the various banks authorised by the government for FASTag distribution.
The customers can also get a FASTag at the toll plaza by providing valid identity proofs and vehicle's Registration Certificate (RC) to the representatives present at the toll plaza. In case the vehicle is company registered, the user can then provide his or her own ID card.

The following documents are required to avail a FASTag at toll plaza for individual use:

- Registration certificate of the vehicle

Toll plazas may provide the facility to recharge the FASTag account. However, the FASTag account can be recharged via UPI, net banking, or mobile banking.

The FASTag needs to be stuck onto the windshield of the car from inside. To do so, you need to remove the peel and place it carefully behind the windshield. The ideal place to fix it would be right behind the inside rearview mirror. Once fixed, do not try to remove or tamper with the FASTag.
- Why are the benefits of FAStag?
