    You can visit the Parivahan website and log in to the Check Post portal to avail various check post services offered. You can use the portal to pay the tax for your check post. The whole process is simple and user friendly. The payment can be done from the comfort from your home in a cashless manner.     How to register for Check Post portal

    • Click on the link https://vahan.parivahan.gov.in/checkpost/
    • Under ‘Authenticated Log in’ click on ‘Sign Up’.
    • Enter details such as the state in which you reside, your name, mobile number, email ID, address, city, pin code, etc.
    • You will receive a One Time Password (OTP) on your registered mobile number. Enter the OTP and enter the verification code.
    • Click on ‘Save’.
    • You will have to create a password for yourself and confirm the same. Follow the instructions thereafter to complete the registration process.

    How to Log in to Check in Portal

    • Click on the link https://vahan.parivahan.gov.in/checkpost/.
    • Under ‘Authenticated Log in’, enter your user id and password and click on ‘Submit’.

    How to Pay the Tax Amount using the Portal

    • Click on the link https://vahan.parivahan.gov.in/checkpost/.
    • Click on ‘Tax Payment’.
    • Select the state in which you reside.
    • Under ‘Service Name’, select the service applicable.
    • Click on ‘Go’.
    • You will be directed to a new page where you will have to enter the vehicle number. Click on ‘Get Details’.
    • Fill the fields which have not been filled automatically.
    • Click on ‘Calculate Tax’.
    • Once the tax amount payable has been calculated, click on ‘Pay Tax’ to pay the amount.
    • Click on ‘Continue’ and choose a payment method of your choice to complete the payment.
    • Once the payment has been done, you will receive the receipt for the same. Save it for future reference.

    How to print payment receipt

    • Click on the link https://vahan.parivahan.gov.in/checkpost/.
    • Click on ‘Payment Receipt.
    • Select the state and enter the vehicle number.
    • Click on ‘Get Details’.
    • The records related to the payment of tax will be displayed on the screen. You can then proceed to download the print or directly get it printed as well.

    How to check Pending Transaction

    • Click on the link https://vahan.parivahan.gov.in/checkpost/.
    • Click on ‘Check Pending Transaction’. You will be directed to a new page.
    • Enter the vehicle number and click on ‘Get Details’.
    • You will be able to view all the relevant information including the amount payable on your screen. You can then proceed to complete the payment choosing a payment mode of your choice.
    • Once the payment is completed, you will receive a receipt for the same which you must save for future reference.

    How to check details of your receipt

    • Click on the link https://vahan.parivahan.gov.in/checkpost/.
    • Click on ‘Check Receipt Details’. You will be directed to a new page.
    • Either select the options ‘Receipt Number’ or ‘Vehicle Number’ and enter the number for the same.
    • Select the state and click on ‘Get Details’.
    • You will get all the details of your receipt displayed on your screen.

    How to reverify failed transactions

    • Click on the link https://vahan.parivahan.gov.in/checkpost/.
    • Click on ‘Reverify Failed Transactions’. You will be directed to a new page.
    • Select the state and enter your vehicle number.
    • Click on ‘Get Details’. All the necessary information will be displayed on your screen.
