Airtel FASTag Recharge
Authorisation has been provided by the Indian Highways Management Company Limited (IHMCL) for Airtel Payments Bank to provide FASTag for cars. With the help of the FASTag facility, you can save time at toll plazas as you will not have to wait to pay the toll tax by cash.
The FASTag is fixed to the car's windscreen and money is deducted with the help of Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology. The process to recharge your FASTag account is simple and can be completed via Google Pay, Paytm, PhonePe, Airtel Payments Bank, etc.
How to Recharge Airtel FASTag Account
Via Airtel Payments Bank
In order to recharge the FASTag by using Airtel Payments Bank, you will need to add money to the wallet via UPI, debit card, credit card, or internet banking. Once the amount has been added, the minimum amount will be added to the FASTag account.
Via Google Pay
- Once you have opened the Google Pay app, select 'FASTag Recharge'. The option can be found under the 'Recharge & Bill Payments' section.
- Next, choose the FASTag biller. In this case select 'Airtel Payments Bank FASTag'.
- Next, enter the vehicle number to link the account.
- Next, enter the amount.
- Select the bank from which the amount will be deducted.
- Click on 'Pay' to complete the procedure.
Via PhonePe
- On the PhonePe app, select 'Recharge & Pay Bills'.
- Choose 'FASTag Recharge'.
- Choose the bank. In this case select 'Airtel Payments Bank FASTag'.
- Enter the vehicle registration number.
- Click on 'Confirm'.
- Enter the amount on the next page.
- Select the bank account from where you would like to pay the money.
- Select the 'Pay' option to complete the procedure.
The process to recharge your FASTag account is simple and can be completed with the help of various applications such as Google Pay, Airtel Payments Bank, PhonePe, etc.
