Procedure to Download Your Voter Slip
The Election Commission has now made it easier for voters to get their voter slips with the voters' list now being available online. For marking every voter's attendance, the polling booth officials will scan the pre-printed voter slips which have a QR-code.
What is a Voter Slip?
The Election Commission of India issues the Voter Information Slip (VIS) or voter slip, which contains several details such as the poll date and time, location of the polling station, assembly constituency, gender, and age of the voter.
Procedure to Download Voter Slip Online
The process that must be followed to download the voter slip online is mentioned below:
- Visit https://voters.eci.gov.in/.
- Select ‘Search in Electoral Roll’.
- Choose either ‘Search by Mobile’, ‘Search by EPIC’, or ‘Search by Details’.
- Enter the relevant details.
- Click on ‘Search’.
- Details will be displayed on the screen.
- Under ‘Action’, you will find the ‘View Details’ option. Click on it.
- Next, select ‘Print Voter Information’ to complete the process.
You can also download your voter slip using the Voter Helpline app. In order to do this, you must first link your mobile number with your Electors Photo Identity Card (EPIC) number. This number will be on your Voter ID card.
