  • Visit the National Voters’ Service Portal by clicking on the link
  • Under ‘Search by Details’ option, enter details such as your name, name of your father, or husband if you are a married woman, date of birth, and gender.
  • From the State drop-down options select Assam, followed by your domicile district from the drop-down menu. You can also use the ‘Locate on Map’ to enter the state and district of which you are a domicile.

  • You can use the ‘Search by EPIC’ where you will have to provide your EPIC number to download the Voter ID card online.

  • Elections dates for local body polls announced in Tamil Nadu

    Elections will be held in two phases in the nine newly created districts of Tamil Nadu to elect the local bodies. The polls will be held on 6th and 9th October as stated by the state election commissioner. While 39 unions will into polls on 6th October, 35 will go for polls on 9th October with the counting of votes slated to happen on 12th October. Code of conduct has come into effect immediately in the districts of Kancheepuram, Chengalpet, Vellore, Ranipet, Tirupattur, Villupuram, Kallakuruchi, Tirunelveli, and Tenkasi. A total of 76,59,720 voters will exercise their franchise of voting in the two-phase polls.

    The Trichy district administration has asked 50,000 of newly-enrolled voters to download their Electronic Elector Photo Identity Card (e-EPIC) at the earliest. The administration has cited a poor response from new voters for this move. The collector of Trichy also revealed that only 3,103 voters have downloaded their e-EPIC so far and over 500,00 voters are yet to download theirs.
