International Airlines in India

The airline was founded on November 22, 1993, and on January 20, 1994, it began operating. It is a Qatari-based, state-owned airline. Currently, the airline serves more than 150 locations across the globe with a fleet of about 200 aircraft. 

Emirates Airways 

Emirates Airlines was established in 1985 by the government of Dubai and is largely centered in Dubai. The airline started full-fledged operations in 1985, and since that time, it has been able to grow its fleet to more than 300 aircraft. Emirates Airlines, a division of the Emirates Group, has developed into one of the busiest and most lucrative airlines. 

Etihad Airways

In July 2003, the UAE government set the groundwork for Etihad Airways, and the airline started operating the same year. The fleet size of Etihad Airways is now around 96 aircraft, which is roughly one-third of Emirates Airlines' fleet size. However, the service quality of Etihad has created opportunities for future expansion. This prestigious airline's central office is located in Abu Dhabi's Khalifa City. 

Air Arabia Airlines 

Another airline from the Middle East is Air Arabia Airlines. Air Arabia is primarily a budget airline that concentrates on offering affordable air travel to its clients. The airline was established in 2003, and since then, it has grown its fleet to include more than 96 aircraft. The airline's headquarters are located at Sharjah International Airport. 

Lufthansa Airlines 

This airline, which is among the oldest in the world, was created on January 6, 1953, and it started operating on April 1, 1955. The Lufthansa group now boasts a fleet of more than 300 aircraft thanks to the airline's resounding performance. The airline currently offers service to more than 197 locations spread over 78 nations. Other airlines owned by the Lufthansa Group include Swiss International Airlines, Eurowings, Austrian Airlines, and others. 

Air France 

On October 7, 1933, Air France was established. It is one of the oldest still-operating airlines in the world. More than 210 aircraft owned by Air France are part of a fleet that travels to about 200 locations globally. 

British Airways 

British Airways was the new name for the airline after it changed its original name, Aircraft Transport and Travel Limited, in 1974. The national carrier of the United Kingdom is this airline. With 254 aircraft, this airline has one of the greatest fleet sizes worldwide. British Airways currently has its main office in London and flies to more than 180 locations worldwide. 

Thai Airways 

Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) worked closely with the founders of the airline to establish it in 1960. At the moment, this airline mostly flies to major cities in South Asia, Europe, and some regions of East Asia. Thai Airlines was a founding member of the Star Alliance as well. 

Singapore Airlines 

One of the top airlines in the world is Singapore Airlines. Malayan Airways, the company's original name, was established on May 1st, 1947. In 1974, the airline underwent a rebranding and became Singapore Airlines. Singapore Airlines has been rated as one of the world's most effective and well-served airlines by numerous organisations. Singapore Airlines can reach more than 140 destinations around the globe thanks to its fleet of more than 150 aircraft. Singapore Airlines' main hub is located at Singapore Changi Airport. 

Swiss International Airlines 

The national carrier of Switzerland is Swiss International Airlines. Swiss International Airlines, the main airline of Switzerland, is owned by the Lufthansa group. Swiss Airlines provides service coverage in more than 76 countries on all continents except Antarctica thanks to its fleet of more than 90 aircraft.
