    • Petrol and Diesel Prices Remain Steady for the Second Straight Day

      State-run oil marketing companies (OMCs) kept petrol and diesel prices unchanged for the second straight day. According to the website of India’s leading oil company Indian Oil, petrol was being sold at Rs.76.23 per litre in New Delhi on Thursday. As for other metro cities, petrol is available at Rs.79.10 in Kolkata, Rs.83.68 in Mumbai and Rs.79.18 in Chennai. Diesel was being sold at Rs.67.79 in New Delhi, while in Kolkata, Mumbai and Chennai it’s available at Rs.70.48, Rs.71.97 and Rs.71.59 respectively. Prices are effective 6 am Thursday.
