• Upcoming Car Launches in India

    Here are the top car models that are expected to hit the Indian market in 07 Dec 2021:

    1. BMW New X5
    2. Priced between Rs.70 lakh and Rs.90 lakh, the BMW X5 is expected to be available to aficionados come May 2019. The official unveiling of the fourth-gen X5 took place in June last year. G05, as it is codenamed, the BMW X5 is bigger in comparison with the previous model, has more features and comes with a more stylish look.

    3. Hyundai Venue
    4. The Hyundai Venue is estimated to be priced around Rs.8 lakh to Rs.10 lakh and is expected to hit the market on 21 May this year. With the launch of the Venue, Hyundai is expected to establish a firm presence in the compact SUV segment. The last time the car was seen was at the Auto Expo in 2016 as the Carlino concept. Following its launch, the Hyundai Venue is set to compete with the Maruti Brezza and the Ford EcoSport, among others.

    5. Maruti Suzuki New Vitara Brezza
    6. Priced between Rs.8 lakh and Rs.9 lakh, the new Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza is expected to be launched in June 2019. The first version of the vehicle was launched in March 2016, and the car has gone on to become the bestselling SUV in India. Maruti Suzuki is currently in the works with a facelift for the vehicle and updates are expected to both the interiors as well as the exteriors of the car.

    7. Mercedes-Benz GLE New
    8. The Mercedes-Benz GLE is set to be made available for purchase come May 2019, and is expected to cost anywhere between Rs.65 lakh and Rs.80 lakh. The vehicle has been spotted during its test runs on several occasions, and will finally hit the Indian market in the coming month. The new Mercedes-Benz GLE has increased its dimensions with the highlights being the two LED headlights that run across over the projector headlamps like eyebrows, and a massive grille on the fascia.

    9. Mahindra TUV300 Facelift
    10. May 2019 is also expected to mark the launch of the Mahindra TUV300 Facelift at an estimated price of Rs.8 lakh to Rs.12 lakh. The vehicle is expected to feature subtle cosmetic changes. The bumper design and front grille have been restyled, while the headlamps have received a smoky finish. The cabin does not feature many changes, but the installation of additional equipment to keep up with the changing norms have garnered plenty of hype around the launch of the car.

    11. Hyundai Tucson Facelift
    12. The premium SUV from Hyundai, the Tucson, is set to be launched in India come June 2019. The vehicle is expected to cost between Rs.18 lakh and Rs.20 lakh. The first version of the Tucson was launched in 2016, and the facelift version is expected to arrive with a number of feature and cosmetic upgrades.

    13. Land Rover New Range Rover Evoque
    14. June 2019 is set to mark the launch of another highly anticipated vehicle – the new Land Rover Range Rover Evoque. The price of the vehicle is expected to be between Rs.53 lakh and Rs.70 lakh. The vehicle was unveiled at a special event in London, and is not in its second generation. The Land Rover Range Rover Evoque will be available with a fully rejigged powertrain and an updated underpinning.

    15. Porsche New Macan
    16. The new Porsche Macan is estimated to be priced around Rs.65 lakh to Rs.69 lakh and will be available to customers from June 2019. Porsche has developed a strong reputation for designing engineering marvels that hit incredible speeds, and the German automaker has ensured that the Macan and the Cayenne are equally sporty. Having been launched a few years ago, the new Macan will be available with its first mid-life update.

    17. MG Hector
    18. The MG Hector, which is set for launch in June 2019, is set to become the first product from MG. The vehicle is expected to be priced between Rs.18 lakh and Rs.23 lakh. The car will be competing against vehicles such as the Tata Harrier, the Jeep Compass and the Hyundai Tucson. The MG Hector will have leather upholstery, six airbags, electric front seats, and seven-seat options with five seats. It will also come with a 360-degree surround view camera and a huge touchscreen infotainment system.

    19. BMW New 3 Series
    20. June 2019 will also see the launch of the new BMW 3 Series. The vehicle was first unveiled at the 2018 Motor Show in Paris and will be priced between Rs.50 lakh and Rs.60 lakh. The G20 3 Series is inspired by the resurrected 8 Series and will be available with some state-of-the-art features along with its classic driving dynamics. The overall profile of the vehicle will be the same, but a number of subtle changes have been incorporated around the roofline and the windows.

    21. Hyundai Kona
    22. Priced at just Rs.8 lakh, the Hyundai Kona is set for its India launch in June 2019. Based on the company’s i20 model, the Kona receives a peppy engine, but the car will only be launched as an electric in India. The Kona features a quirky design and has a solid USP. It will also come with menacing headlamps among other cool features that are expected to contribute towards its success in the market.

    23. Volkswagen Next Generation Vento
    24. The Volkswagen Next Generation Vento is expected to cost around Rs.8 lakh and will be available to customers come July 2019. The vehicle is expected to feature rectangular LED headlamps along with thick bumpers and a chrome grille. It will also have an updated boot, but the tail lamps will be the same as seen in much larger sedans such as the Arteon and the Passat.

    25. Mahindra e20 NXT
    26. The Mahindra e20 NXT will be available to customers from July 2019 and will cost between Rs.6 lakh and Rs.8 lakh. The vehicle was first unveiled at the Auto Expo in 2018, and features a handful of new design elements.

    27. Audi Q2
    28. The Audi Q2 is expected to cost between Rs.28 lakh and Rs.32 lakh and could hit the Indian market in July 2019. The vehicle was unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show and will be the company’s smallest SUV yet. The Q2 is expected to sit under the Audi Q3 in the company’s SUV portfolio.

    29. Audi Q8
    30. Priced between Rs.1 crore and Rs.1.2 crore, the Audi Q8 stands testimony to Audi’s expanding SUV line-up. While the Q7, the Q5 and the Q3 define the conventional SUV segments, the Q8, the Q4 and the Q2 form part of the new products.
