Upcoming Car Launches in India

In India, car manufacturers launch several new cars every year. Cars are launched with new features and specifications. Certain manufacturers update previous models as well with new features.

Here are the top car models that are expected to hit the Indian market in 2025:

  1. Tata Harrier EV: The Tata Harrier EV will launch inT July 2025. The car will be available at an ex-showroom price of Rs.21.49 lakh. The four-wheeler will come with a range of 627 kilometres per charge. The car will be available in several models and will come with various features. The four different colours that the Harrier EV will be available are Empowered Oxide, Pure Grey, Pristine White, and Nainital Nocturne. 
  1. MG Cyberster: The two-door electric roadster will likely be launched in July 2025. The Cyberster was showcased by MG at this year’s Auto Expo. The car may be priced at around Rs.80 lakh and will go from 0 to 100 kilometres per hour in 3.2 seconds. The four-wheeler may come with a range of 400 kilometres per charge. 
  1. Renault Triber 2025: The 2025 variant of the Renault Triber may be launched in July 2025 and will likely be available at an ex-showroom price of Rs.6 lakh. The car will be powered by a 1.0-litre petrol engine and will be available in one model, the RXE. The MUV will come with a manual transmission and ground clearance of 182 millimetres. 
  1. Maruti e Vitara: The Maruti e Vitara will be the company’s first electric vehicle in the country. The car will likely be available at an ex-showroom price ranging between Rs.17 lakh and Rs.22.50 lakh. The four-wheeler is expected to be launched in September 2025 and may come with a range of 500 kilometres per charge. The three different variants that the e Vitara will be available in are Alpha, Zeta, and Delta. 
  1. Tata Punch 2025: The 2025 face-lift variant of the Punch will likely be launched by Tata in September of this year. The car will be powered by a 1.2-litre petrol engine. The four-wheeler will compete against the likes of the Renault Kiger, Nissan Magnite, Citroen C3, Toyota Taisor, Maruti Fronx, Maruti Ignis, and Hyundai Exter. The car will be available in both manual and automatic transmissions. Tata will likely launch the car at an ex-showroom price of Rs.6 lakh. 
  1. Skoda Elroq: The Skoda Elroq will come with the Modern Solid Design and may be available at an ex-showroom price of Rs.50 lakh. The electric four-wheeler may launch in October. The car will come with a range of up to 579 kilometres per charge. The Elroq will compete against the likes of the Hyundai Ioniq 5 and BYD Atto 3. 
  1. Tata Sierra: The Tata Sierra will be available at an ex-showroom price of Rs.10.50 lakh and may launch in October. The car will be powered by a 1.5-litre petrol engine that comes with a manual as an automatic transmission. The power and torque of the four-wheeler are 168 bhp and 280 Nm, respectively. The car will be available in both petrol and diesel variants. 
  1. Volkswagen Tayron: The Volkswagen Tayron is a Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) that may be launched in November. The car was spotted in Maharashtra in May. The four-wheeler will likely be available at an ex-showroom price of Rs.50 lakh. The petrol variant of the Tayron will be powered by a 2.0-litre engine. The SUV will be available in several colours and may come with various features. 
  1. Skoda Super 2025: The 2025 variant of the Skoda Superb will be available at an ex-showroom price of Rs.50 lakh and will launch at the end of the year. The petrol variant of the car will be powered by a 2.0-litre engine.  Some of the main features that the car will come with are a wireless phone charger, multi-zone climate control, and a touchscreen. The car will will compete against the Toyota Camry. 
  1. Audi A5: The Audi A5 may be available at an ex-showroom of Rs.50 lakh and will likely launch in August. The petrol variant of the car will be powered by a 2.0-litre engine. The car will likely come with an automatic transmission. The four-wheeler will come with several features.
