    Tata Tigor (Kite 5)

    The new Tata Kite 5 hatchback will wear a compact sedan look like its predecessor, the Tata Indica. The sedan has now been christened as Tata Tigor. The Kite hatchback will have similar interiors and front-end styling like the Indica whereas the rear of the vehicle features a notchback shape. The car comes with a 1.2-litre petrol and a 1.05-litre diesel. The car is set to meet a launch date in April this year and is set to be priced between Rs.4.25 lakh and Rs.6.5 lakh. The Tigor will become a direct competitor for automobiles like Maruti Dzire, Hyundai Xcent, Honda Amaze, and Ford Aspire.

    Chevrolet Trailblazer

    The new Chevrolet Trailblazer will be the result of a facelift on the Chevrolet Trailblazer that was launched in 2016. The new 2017 model comes with a brand new front fascia with a revised front bumper and sleeker headlamps. The car is set to be released in mid-2017. With an estimated price tag of Rs.26-27 lakh, the new Trailblazer will come with a 2.8-litre diesel engine and is a direct competitor with the Ford Endeavour, Toyota Fortuner, and Mitsubishi Pajero Sport.

    Isuzu MU-X

    The Isuzu MU-X was launched in the first half of 2017 and this car replaces the MU-7 in India. The Isuzu MU-X will be a direct competitor with the Ford Endeavour, Toyota Fortuner, and Chevrolet Trailblazer. The car comes with a 3.0-litre diesel engine and the estimated price will be between Rs.23-27 lakh.

    Mahindra TUV500

    Mahindra is working on a larger variant of the TUV300 and will now feature 3 rows of seats. The new TUV300 is rumoured to be christened as “TUV500”. The car comes with a 1.5-litre diesel engine and is estimated to be priced between Rs.8.50-10.50 lakhs. The TUV500 will be launched in October or November this year and will be direct competitor with the Honda BR-V, Renault Duster, and the Hyundai Creta.

    Maruti Suzuki Jimny/2018 Maruti Gypsy

    The next generation of the Jimmy will be produced by Maruti in India and could possibly be launched in India as the new Gypsy. The car will be launched in early 2018 and is estimated to be priced between Rs.5.50 lakh and Rs.6.60 lakh. The car runs on a 1.0-litre petrol engine and will compete with the Maruti Ignis and Mahindra KUV100.

    2017 Maruti Swift

    The new Maruti Swift will enter the Indian auto markets by early 2018.
