Step 1 – Complaints/Feedback/Queries
Email HDFC - HDFC allows its customers to send an email query online. When the customer selects the Email option, it opens a window that allows you to choose a query and replies within seconds. If customer is dissatisfied, it asks for additional information so that the bank can get back them with more information and clarity.
Call HDFC – The HDFC registered website allows its car loan customers to call the customer care centre of their respective city. The number can be found by selecting the city you are looking for from a drop down list. The window then displays the respective number.

Step 2 – Grievance Redressal

Mobile: From your mobile number registered with the bank, send an SMS to 5676712. Use the format REGISTER <Custid> <Last 5 digits of A/C no.>. This will get your number instantly registered for the SMS banking facility.
ATM – At the ATM, enter your unique ATM pin. On the home page, select the ‘More Options’ tab. Start the registration process for SMS banking.
Online – Customers can also register for the SMS facility by logging into HDFC online. On the NetBanking page, login using the Customer ID and IPIN. Select ‘SMS Banking’ registration. Fill in all the required information.
Branch – Customers can also visit the bank’s branch to activate the SMS services. They can download the form for SMS banking registration, fill, sign, and submit it at any of the nearest HDFC Bank branches.
