How is Road Tax Calculated in Haryana?

In Haryana, road tax is calculated based on various factors such as the type of vehicle, its weight, engine capacity, and cost. The government imposes different rates for private, commercial, and transport vehicles.

Taxes are levied as a percentage of the overall cost of vehicle or as a fixed amount as per the given criteria for a class of vehicle. The taxes are collected on a one-time basis meaning that your vehicle, once cleared of road taxes, can continue playing on Haryana roadways throughout its operating life without having to pay road taxes again.
