IBPS Clerk Exam Preparation:

IBPS Clerk Preliminary Exam Pattern:

The preliminary exam pattern for the IBPS clerk exam is as given below:

There will be three sections of English language, Reasoning Ability, and Numerical Ability. There will be 30 questions for English and 35 questions each for Reasoning Ability and Numerical Ability. The marks too correspond to the number of questions in each, with 30 marks for English and 35 marks each for Reasoning Ability and Numerical Ability, which makes the total marks 100. There are 20 minutes given for each section, which means the total duration is one hour.

IBPS Clerk Mock Test Pattern:

The IBPS Clerk mains exam has four components. These include general or financial awareness, general English, computer and mathematical aptitude, and reasoning ability. For general and financial awareness, reasoning ability and computer aptitude, and quantitative aptitude, there are 50 questions total. For General English, there are 40 questions total. Quantitative aptitude and general/financial awareness both carry 50 points. General English get 40 points, while Reasoning Ability and Computer Aptitude receive 60 points each. General/Financial Awareness and General English take 35 minutes each, while Quantitative Aptitude, Computer Aptitude, and Reasoning Ability each take 45 minutes. There are 190 total questions, a total of 200 possible points, and 160 total minutes.

Important Points to Note:

With the exception of the General English paper, the exam will be administered in either English or Hindi. Unanswered questions will not receive any points, however incorrect answers will result in 0.25 points deducted from your score in the Objective Test. Both exams are available online. To pass the preliminary tests and be eligible for the main exams, it is crucial to perform well in each area because there are sectional cut-off marks. Those who pass the primary examinations will be contacted for the final interview round and shortlisted for the position.
