The Rythu Bharosa Scheme, also called the YSS Rythu Bharosa Scheme, is one of the welfare schemes for farmers launched by the Andhra Pradesh government in June 2019. It was implemented effectively from 15 October 2019.

How to check beneficiary list of Rythu Bharosa Scheme

The beneficiary list will be prepared by the government on a district-wise level. This will be updated on the official website. To check if your name is on the list, follow the steps given below:

  • Visit the official website of the scheme: https://ysrrythubharosa.ap.gov.in/RBApp/index.html
  • Click on the ''Login'' button on the right upper corner of the page.
  • Log in using your username and password.
  • The beneficiary list will be displayed on the page with details such as name, father's name, the Katha number, village name, district name, Mandal name, etc.

Features of the Rythu Bharosa Scheme

  1. This scheme aims to provide farmers with financial assistance amounting to Rs.13,500, before the sowing season, on an annual basis.
  2. Of this, Rs.7,500 will be provided by the state government and Rs.6,000 will be provided by the central government under the Kissan Samman Nidhi Scheme.
  3. Rs.50,000 will be provided in the first year to farmers having up to 5 acres of land
  4. The amount will be directly deposited in the bank account of the beneficiary
  5. Initial beneficiaries will receive around Rs.40 lakh.
  6. The budget allotted by the state government is Rs.5,500 crore.

Benefits of Rythu Bharosa Scheme

  1. Tenant farmers are also eligible under the scheme to get Rs.2,500 per year
  2. Fee reimbursement of Rs.20,000 will be provided to students
  3. Eligible farmers can also avail zero-interest loans.
  4. Free borewell facility will be provided to farmers under the scheme with 200 borewell drill rigs being allotted to each assembly constituency.
  5. Cold storage units and food processing units will also be established across the state.
  6. Free power supply to be provided for 9 hours a day during the daytime.
  7. Milk diaries that were shut down will be reopened and milk contributors will be provided a subsidy.
  8. Road tax for tractors belonging to farmers will be discontinued.
  9. Life insurance cover will be provided to dependents of farmers, amounting to Rs.5 lakh, with the premium being paid by the government.
  10. Pending irrigation projects will be completed.

Individuals who want to apply for the scheme should be:

  • Permanent residents of the state of Andhra Pradesh
  • Associated with the agricultural sector
  • A small, marginal, or agricultural tenant
  • Having cultivated 5 acres of land
