Step 1: Open the Android or iOS app store on your smartphone.
Step 2: Look for the ‘Ola Money’ app and tap on the ‘Install’ option.

Here is how you can activate OlaMoney:

If you use Ola Money's prepaid wallet, you must complete KYC according to the RBI guidelines. After successfully completing KYC, the recharge limit on your Ola Money e-wallet can be increased to Rs.2 lakh per month. Bank transfers and wallet-to-wallet transfers can also be availed. You can complete your KYC for OlaMoney through these steps:
Step 1: Launch the ‘OlaMoney’ app on your smartphone.
Step 2: Choose ‘Add Money’ or ‘Send Money’ from the ‘Ola Money’ section.
Step 3: Submit your PAN, driving licence, passport, or voter ID details.
Step 4: Click and upload a selfie.
Step 5: After completing these steps, your phone will display the message ‘Documents Uploaded Successfully.’
Once you have completed the aforementioned KYC process, you need to carry out the physical verification of documents. The steps involved in physical verification are mentioned below:
Step 1: Open the ‘Ola’ app and book a ride.
Step 2: Keep your documents ready for verification.
Step 3: The Ola driver will compare them to the documents that have been uploaded.
Step 4: Tap on ‘Generate PIN’ and upload the front face of the original documents. Ensure that you attach your name to the documents.
Step 5: A KYC PIN will be issued after this step.
Step 6: To complete KYC, share this PIN with your Ola driver.

No, your OlaMoney wallet does not have a minimum balance requirement. If you do not have sufficient OlaMoney to cover the cost of a ride, you can give the difference to your driver in cash. You can also top up your OlaMoney wallet at any point of time before your trip.
