Mobikwik has decided to integrate the UPI method of payment after the government laid down strict regulations for UPI and KYC for digital wallet companies. The newly launched UPI facility can be availed by its customers on @ikwik, the virtual payment handle of the digital wallet company. Mobikwik has conducted multiple trial runs with the UPI feature on its app in the past few months. In addition to the UPI mode of payment, Mobikwik will also offer other mode of payments such as UPI QR and Bharat QR for the three million customers on the app.

With this move, the Gurugram based company wants to increase the ability of the customer to switch between the virtual card and the e-wallet.
