While making premium payment on time is absolutely necessary, it need not be a challenging task. Aegon Life has streamlines and simplified the process of premium payment by providing their customers with a variety of online premium payment options, using which payments can be made at one’s convenience, anytime, and anywhere.
Internet banking –
Aegon Life Insurance Policyholders can pay premiums directly using the net banking platform of their preferred bank with which they hold an account. Premium payments via net banking are secure and done within a matter of minutes.
Credit/debit card –
You can also pay your premiums using your debit or credit card. To make online payment, you will need to visit the Aegon Life website and go to the premium payment section. You will need to provide your policy number and date of birth after which you can see your premium due details. Make the payment using your credit/debit card.
You can also make your premium payments using NEFT or e-CMS, which are electronic fund transfer facilities provided by most leading banks in India. To make payment via NEFT or e-CMS, you will need to first add Aegon Life as a beneficiary in your net banking account.
Mobile Wallets –
In the digital era, mobile wallets have been nothing short of a boon for making payments on the go. Aegon Life wants to give its customers the very same convenience and therefore, allows premium payments via a number of mobile wallets. Customers can choose between PayTM, JioMoney, and Payzapp to make their policy premium payments.
NACH (National Automated Clearing House) -
NACH is an electronic auto-debit service like ECS where the premium amount is automatically debited from the bank account chosen by the user on the due date.
CCSI (Credit Card Standing Instructions) –
This facility is available to all individuals who hold a credit card and wish to make payments using the same. CCSI is also an electronic auto-debit facility wherein the due premium amount will be charged to the credit card chosen by the policyholder on the due date. The advantage here is that cardholders can avail cashback or reward points on making payment using their credit card, depending on the offers that are applicable for such payments.
NEFT/Bill Pay –
Auto debit of premium payment can also be carried out using NEFT (National Electronic Funds Transfer) or Bill Pay service which is provided by nearly all leading banks. To make payment via NEFT, the policyholder must add Aegon Life as a beneficiary on their preferred net banking account using which they wish to make premium payments.
Pay By Phone
Policyholders can now enjoy the convenience of making premium payments with their phone using the IVR (Interactive Voice Response) system. To use this facility, they need to dial the Aegon Life toll free customer care number i.e. 1800 209 9090 using their registered mobile number. After that, they must follow the instructions given by the IVR system and make the payment using their Visa or MasterCard credit card.

Other bank branches –
Premium payments for Aegon Life policies can also be made in cash or by local cheque at Axis bank or Yes Bank branches. Maximum premium payment accepted in this case will be up to Rs.49,999. When paying via cheque, draw it in favour of ‘Aegon Life Insurance Co. Ltd. Policy No.*insert policy No.*’.
CSC (Common Service Centres) –
Premiums can also be paid at any one of the Common Service Centres located across India for amounts up to Rs.49,999.
