The development of biodegradable technical textile materials, particularly geotextiles, medical textiles, and agro-textiles, will be aided by a specific research component. Additionally, it will introduce technology for the safe disposal of used technical textiles.
The National Skills Qualifications Framework (NSQF) will include six training courses as part of the National Technical Textiles Mission.
