Objectives of the Ishan Uday Scheme

Ishan Uday Scholarship Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible, the student must meet the following conditions:

1. Must be a domicile of North Eastern states: Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Tripura, and Sikkim
2. Passed Class 12 from a recognized board in the NER
3. Enrolled in a first-year UG degree course in any recognized college or university
4. Family income should not exceed ₹4.5 lakh per annum
5. Must not be availing any other scholarship scheme for the same purpose

Not Eligible: Students enrolled in Open Universities or pursuing diploma/certificate courses.

Courses Covered Under Ishan Uday

1. All General Degree courses: B.A., B.Sc., B.Com, etc.
2. Technical & Professional courses: B.E., B.Tech, BBA, BCA, MBBS, Nursing, etc.
3. Integrated courses (UG + PG) are also eligible.

Ishan Uday Scholarship Amount

Disbursed directly into the student’s bank account through DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer).
