The Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) is a national fellowship program initiated by the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India. It aims to encourage students to pursue research careers in basic sciences by providing scholarships and mentorship opportunities.

Note: As of 2022, KVPY has been merged with INSPIRE, but existing fellowships and program details still hold relevance.
