Key features of SBI Critical Illness Insurance:

|Renewability||Only 1 critical illness can be covered in the lifetime of the insured.|
|Medical Screening||Applicable for applicants above the age of 45 years. Accepted applicants will receive 50% of the medical costs incurred.|
|Sum Assured||Minimum- Rs. 2 Lakh Maximum- Rs. 50 Lakh Maximum cap of Rs.15 Lakh for first time applicants above the age of 60 years. Non-earning insured will be granted 50% of the sum insured up to a maximum cap of Rs. 10 Lakhs on the basis of the income of the proposer.|
Insurance benefit is only payable in the scenario that the insured is alive for a duration of 28 days or more after the first diagnosis of the illness. The policy automatically terminates upon payment of first critical illness benefit.
Only 1 critical illness claim can be made during the lifetime of the insured.
