Exclusions Listed below are some of the exclusions that are not covered by the Royal Sundaram Lifeline Supreme plan.
  • The policy does not cover addictive conditions and disorders
  • Cataract, knee/hip replacement, chronic renal failure etc are not covered under this policy
  • Diseases contracted by the insured person within first 30 days after the commencement of policy are excluded from claims
  • Pre-existing medical conditions as mentioned in the policy and declared by the insured at the time of purchasing policy will be covered only after 36 months of uninterrupted policy coverage
  • Critical Illness that are contracted by the insured person within first 90 days after the commencement of policy will not be considered for claims
  • The policy does not offer cover for dental and oral treatment
  • Ancillary hospital charges as well as cosmetic surgery are not covered
  • AIDS is not covered under the policy
  • X-Ray or Laboratory charges are not covered
  • The policy does not cover conflicts and disasters
  • Treatment received outside India is not covered under this plan
