Tata Capital's Prapti Home Loan to light up the festivities of the urban poor:

Tata Capital Housing Finance Limited (TCHFL) has always supported the empowerment of the urban poor segment by assisting them in the purchase of their dream home. They have been constantly introducing new schemes, special offers, hassle free processing facilities and offering the best rates of interest for this purpose. In addition to providing long term loans for housing purposes, TCHFL provides loans for residential land purchase, home renovation projects and offers construction finances to developers.

For availing a home loan, lenders look to validate the income of the applicant and verify his CIBIL score. As long as the CIBIL score of the applicant is good, he will not have too many problems in getting the approval for the loan. However, for individuals falling under the low income bracket, it is quite difficult to avail a credit.

    Prapti Home Loan Scheme:

TCHFL’s Prapti Home Loan scheme is a boon to the lower income groups and economically weaker sections residing in the urban areas. The plan provides affordable housing loans to help individuals realise their dream of purchasing their own home. The plan is well set to spread some cheer in the lives of aspiring home owners this festive season.

    Salient features of PraPti Scheme:

    • The Prapti home loan scheme is in alliance with the Government’s Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana that targets the construction of 2 crore affordable houses for the urban poor by the year 2022.
    • The plan caters to economically weaker sections, low income groups, SC and ST, and women who are residents of the peripheral regions of the Metros, Tier I, Tier II and Tier III cities.
    • Households with a maximum income of Rs. 6 lakh per annum can avail the Prapti home loan.
    • As per the scheme, home loans are offered at subsidised interest rates starting at 4%.
    • The plan allows flexible repayment options and offers the facility of zero conversion charges.

TCHFL is a fully-owned subsidiary of Tata Capital. The parent company is active in the industry vericals of advisory services, investment banking, private equity advisory and forex. They also deal with credit cards and travel, commercial and infrastructure finance, securities and consumer finance.

Affordable housing is a segment that has witnessed commendable growth in Tata Capital’s home loan business. The Prapti scheme with its easy repayment facilities such as the step-up and step-down options will definitely boost Tata Capital’s presence in the market.
