    1. Visit the website portal of the Telangana National Food Security Cards.
    2. Select the option of ‘Reports’.
    3. Click on the ‘Ration Card Reports’ tab and then select the ‘FSC Card Status Report’ menu from the list of options given.
    4. Select your District and choose the respective shop number.
    5. Once done, the list of all the ration cards under the selected shop will appear.
    6. You can then check your ration card status.

    Telangana Ration Card Eligibility

    In the state of Telangana, there are majorly three types of ration cards which are given to people. They are:

    • AFSC
    • FSC
    • Antyodaya Anna Yojana Cards

    Each of these cards is colour-coded depending on the section of the society they cater to. The Antyodaya Anna Yojana Cards are given to the section to the society who are financially weaker.

    Eligibility Criteria

    The eligibility criteria to apply for any of these ration cards are as follows:

    • The applicant must be a resident of Telangana.
    • He or she must not already hold a Telangana Good Security (FSC) or Ration card.
    • The applicant should belong to a poor or economically weaker section of the society.
    • Newly married couples are eligible to apply for a ration card.
    • Citizens who hold temporary cards or ration cards which have expired can apply for a new ration card as well.

    Documents Required to apply for a Telangana Ration Card

    The citizens who wish to apply for a Telangana ration card are required to submit a list of documents along with a duly filled application form available on the website. The documents which need to be submitted are:

    • A copy of the original state resident proof i.e. Telangana State Domicile.
    • Passport size photograph of the applicant.
    • Copy of the Aadhaar card.

    How to Apply for a Telangana Ration Card

    To apply for a ration card in Telangana, the procedure involved is partially online and offline as well. The process of downloading the ration card must be done from the official website. Once done, the submission of the application form along with the required documents must be done at a MeeSeva centre.

    For the application form, citizens can visit the nearest MeeSeva centre and avail the form or download the form online as well.

    To download the application form online, here are the steps to be followed:

    1. Visit the MeeSeva portal.
    2. Click on the option ‘Other Links’ from the list of options on the left side of the screen.
    3. From the dropdown list, click on the option of Application Forms.
    4. Select the option of ‘Civil Supplies’ from the list.
    5. Once done, select ‘Application for a new Food Security Card’ from the list of options given.
    6. The moment you click on the application, it will automatically get downloaded on your mobile or computer system.
    7. Print the application form once downloaded.
    8. The form consists of a number of sections which need to be filled out such as primary details including the name of the applicant, gender, age, father’s name, mobile number, etc. Other sections include the qualification details, region, district, total income of the family and the number of members in the family, etc.
    9. After the application form has been filled, the applicant must attach the mentioned list of documents required. Once done, the applicant must submit the form, documents along with a fee to the nearest MeeSeva centre.

    How to Check Telangana Ration Card Status Online

    The steps to be followed in order to check the status of the ration card online are:

    1. Visit the Telangana EPDS portal.
    2. Click on the ‘FSC Search’ tab.
    3. The applicant can check the status of the ration card by using any of the following options including the FSC Reference Number, Ration Card Number, Old Ration Card Number, and District.
    4. Entering the required details and then click on ‘Search’.
    5. Once done, the status of your ration card will appear on the screen which can be saved.

      The processing time for the application and verification along with card issuance takes up to 30 days.
