  • Honda CB Shine tops the 125cc bike market with over 1 lakh monthly sales

    The Honda CB Shine, from the Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India stable, created a new record in the 125cc bike category with sales that exceeded 1 lakh units in a month. This was actually the third time that the bike has crossed 1 lakh units in monthly sales. In August alone, the number of Honda CB Shine bikes sold were 1,08,790. The 125cc bike category is the second largest and is called the executive class. The Honda CB Shine and CB Shine SP together have contributed to a 14% sales hike from 2017 to August 2018. Last year the combined sales for Honda’s 125cc bikes was 4,32,984 whereas this fiscal year (until August) it climbed to 4,95,315. For the same period, the industry average was 9,45,633 bikes. The company’s market share has risen to 52% from April to August. The number of Honda CB Shine bike owners in India today is more than 6 million. The company expects sales to be even higher with the upcoming festive period.

  • 2019 Honda CB Shine SP to Be Launched Next Year With Minor Updates

    Honda Motor Company has introduced the 2018 CB Shine SP - the best selling 125cc motorcycle in the country - with a few upgrades and at a starting on-road price of Rs.68,235 in Delhi. The Japanese two-wheeler manufacturer has introduced a new instrument cluster along with new color options and new design features on the tank of the motorcycle. The 2019 version of the bike is expected to carry these updates forward along with the success of the brand. While the 2019 Honda CB Shine SP is not likely to be a new-generation product, the multinational conglomerate is expected to launch this bike as a model-year product. As the new Honda CB Shine SP 2018 has witnessed a slight price hike due to a few additional features, the price of the 2019 version of the motorcycle is expected to remain the same starting from Rs.68,235 for the drum-brake variant to Rs.74,800 for the CBS-variant.

    Powered by a 124.73cc, four-stroke, air-cooled engine coupled with a 5-speed transmission, the 2019 Honda CB Shine SP will be able to generate a peak torque of 10.3 Nm at 5,500 rpm and a maximum power of 10.1 bhp at 7,500 rpm. The bike is expected to offer a fuel economy of approximately 65 kmpl. Available in 6 colour options, the motorcycle will also include new body graphics and tubeless tyres along with a digital-analogue instrument cluster, self start, CBS, a digital clock, disc brakes, alloy wheels, and a service reminder.

  • Latest Honda CBR250RR Available in New Colours

    Honda CBR250RR is now available in two new colours in Indonesia. The two-wheeler can be purchased in a combination of red and black, and a fully black colour with red headlights. Besides the new colour, the two-wheeler will remain unchanged. The bike has an aggressive design language with creases and sharp lines all around. It also has a distinctively styled all-LED split headlamp setup. The bike is powered by a 249cc parallel-twin engine that provides 23.3 Nm of torque and 38.2bhp. The vehicle comes with a dual channel ABS as well as three different riding modes, viz. Sport, Sport plus and Comfort. Although the bike can be purchased in most of the countries in South East Asia, India is not expected to see the model anytime soon as Honda is not able to price it in a competitive manner for the market.

  • 212 BHP to be Developed by the New Honda CBR1000RR

    A number of rumours have been surfacing about the next-gen CBR1000RR launched by Honda. Specs regarding the bike have shown that the vehicle can develop 212 BHP. Recent reports have also put an end to rumours regarding the company going for a V4 engine in the 2019 Honda Blade. The company is, however, developing a V4 engine for a production vehicle, but this will propel the new Honda RVF1000. An inline-four shall be used in the Fireblade and will develop 212 BHP, thereby making it the segment’s most powerful motorcycle. At the moment, the Ducati Panigale V4 is the vehicle that generates the highest BHP at 211. A new frame is also expected to feature in the new Fireblade.

  • Revamped Honda Navi 2018 released at Rs.44,775

    The updated Honda Navi 2018 has been released by Honda recently at a starting price of Rs.44,775 (ex-showroom Delhi). This small-sized scooter was introduced by Honda in February 2016 with a price tag of Rs.39,500 (ex-showroom Delhi). However, this time Navi has come up with a number of new updates which include two new colour options - Ladakh Brown and Ranger Green, a fuel gauge, and a number of cosmetic revamps. Apart from these updates, this revamped model also features a body-coloured headlight cover, grab rails, rear view mirrors, and a metal muffler protector. The revamped version continues to be powered by the same 109.2cc four-stroke air-cooled engine used by Honda Activa.

One of my friend is having showroom locally so visited there and he has loan option for HDFC BANK and the interest rate is moderate but he told me if not in a hurry just go with Maharashtra bank because the rate of interest is keep reducing and could save much money. They were very strict with the documentation and generally they do not pass the loan faster and so much of restriction. The bank office closing timing is 4pm but still their employee will entertain me at 6pm also they have been doing a good service.

    I have a running two wheeler loan from Bajaj Finance. They are not updating my payment on time once my salary is getting credited they will deduct the money from account. My salary will credited 5th of every month and the due date is 6th. But i get the payment notification from the bank end on the same day but Bajaj Finserv people are updating very delayed. Due to this my credit score getting affected. The experience from collection executive is very bad and they do not have common sense to speak with the customer. When i have taken the loan, this is a lower interest rate which i got when i compared to others.

    Bought my two wheeler loan from Indusind bank. 1 year ago, i got this loan. Total bike amount is Rs. 1.80 lakhs and i have made a down payment of Rs. 80000 balance amount converted into EMI. I paid the EMI amount of Rs. 10500 for the tenure period of 11 months. Within a week, they have sanctioned the loan. I was asking about the repayment schedule but they haven't responded well.
