Q.What will happen to the coverage offered by the policy after a claim incident?

A. Once a claim is filed and settled, the coverage you are provided will be reduced by the amount you have made the claim for. For example, if you have availed a policy with a sum insured of Rs.3 lakh and make a claim of Rs.1 lakh 2 months into the policy, you will still be eligible for coverage of Rs.2 lakh for the rest of the policy duration.
