- Accidental Hospitalization Expenses Reimbursement will cover medical expenses which you have incurred towards hospitalization (minimum of 24 hrs) that is required to treat an injury which has occurred within 7 days from the date of accident.
- Accidental Hospital Daily Allowance is another benefit provided by this policy where the insured gets a daily allowance for every day during hospitalization following a covered claim. Hospitalization must not exceed 30 days.

Exclusions of ICICI Lombard Personal Protect Plan
This ICICI Lombard health insurance plan will not be liable to pay for the following expenses. Please refer to the policy document for a complete list of exclusions.
- Payment towards a hospitalization claim where hospitalization has not been done within 7 days of accident.
- Expenses of hospitalization arising from any cause that is not an injury.
- Expenses of eye/dental treatment and plastic surgery unless the same is required following an accidental injury.
- Self-inflicted injury, attempted suicide or suicide.
- Any injury caused under influence of intoxicants like liquor or drugs.
- Injury caused due to pregnancy or childbirth; except ectopic pregnancy or a consequential injury caused from the same.
- Venereal diseases, insanity or a mental/nervous/emotional disorder.
- Injury caused while insured is committing an illegal or criminal act.
