Jana Small Finance Bank (JSFB) IFSC Code

The Indian Financial System Code (IFSC) code issued by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) is a 11-digit code, which is used to specifically identify a bank branch. It is also used for electronic fund transfers made via NEFT, RTGS and IMPS. The code, which is a combination of alphabets and numbers, is different for each branch of a particular bank. For example, the IFSC code for the Jeevanbheemanagar branch of Jana Small Finance Bank is JSFB0004537, while for the Kengeri branch, the code is JSFB0004535.

The 11-digit code consists of three parts. The first part, which comprises the first four letters 'JSFB,' stands for the name of the bank i.e., Jana Small Finance Bank. The next character '0', which is the second part, is for future reference. The third part, which consists of the remaining six numbers i.e '004537', represents the specific branch code of the said bank. The Indian Financial System Code is required by individuals to transfer money using options like NEFT, RTGS, IMPS as well as through internet banking.
