    Citizen Centric Services

This new system is integrated with registration offices for automated mutation services or records. It requires dual authentication through biometric access and location-based access of data which leads to enhanced and tamper-proof security. The implementation of the First in First Out (FIFO) principle for mutation cases led to greater transparency in the process. Since information was shared with citizens through their registered emails and SMS to their registered mobile number, it was more convenient for them. Apart from this, the new system made the sharing of data with other departments even faster and quicker than before.

These are the citizen-centric services that can be accessed online through the portal:

    • Plotting of maps
    • Information of RS-LR and LR-RS plot
    • Information about plots involved in revenue court litigation cases
    • Application for mutation and conversion

    • Know Your Property module allows information to be accessed completely free of cost

    Digitisation Of Map And Records

    • Maintenance of real time land records
    • Prevent alienation of tribal land
    • Protect the rights of small and marginal cultivators including share croppers
    • Implement ceiling laws and to distribute vested land among landless cultivators especially those belonging to Scheduled caste and tribes.

It needs to be mentioned here that in the state 26.48 lac acres of land fall under West Bengal Estate Acquisition Act, 1953 while 3.98 lac acres of land have been vested under West Bengal Land Reforms Act,1955.

To make sure that the reforms are carried out in the best possible way, a number of branches look into the matters. The branches are:

    • GEM Branch
    • M & M Branch
    • Requisition Branch
